Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen.
All students come to class with different experiences, backgrounds, learning capabilities and interests. Therefore, my goals as their teacher are to understand their world and to see each of them as the unique individuals they are. I encourage my students to come to class wanting to learn and to work to their fullest potential.
Every day is an adventure when teaching middle school. I really love the way they think, the way they enjoy being together, and their sense of humor. I think what I enjoy the most about teaching middle school is that one never knows what the day may bring! Sure there are always plans, assignments, and activities to be done, but every once in a while, we venture off into some of the best discussions that weren’t part of my original plan, discussions that show they are really thinking and seeing things in a whole new way!
The sense of family at St. Gabriel is what makes our school very special. The students, their families, and the dedicated staff all work closely together to create a Catholic learning environment where each student is treated with love and respect. I feel truly blessed to be a part of St. Gabriel Parish School.
