Welcome to St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School! We are so glad you are here!
St. Gabriel Catholic Parish has a mission of ‘Proclaiming Christ and Making Disciples.’ Our school is a vibrant ministry of the parish, and we continue its mission with a daily emphasis on the value of each student as a child of God. We offer a curriculum that nurtures the growth of students academically, spiritually, and physically, and our faculty is dedicated to this whole-child approach to education. We proclaim Christ while pursuing excellence, as we partner with parents in preparing each child to fulfill his/her God-given potential.
What makes St. Gabriel so special?
As an Archdiocese of Milwaukee school, we are Catholic through and through! Every facet of the school day is informed by our Catholic identity, beginning with our morning prayer and continuing throughout the day with Religion instruction in each grade and student-led prayer to conclude the day. Our students plan and attend weekly Mass as well as monthly adoration. Sacramental preparation, faith-building retreats, our living advent wreath, and Stations of the Cross are just a few of the ways our faith permeates the life of our school.
St. Gabriel also upholds the longstanding reputation of Catholic schools as centers of academic excellence. St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Our outstanding faculty provides first-rate instruction in a technology-rich environment, and our students receive an excellent foundation in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Physical education, Spanish, health, and music round out our curricular offerings, and our extracurricular options include athletics, forensics, and Destination Imagination, to name a few. Our small class sizes ensure that each child receives the attention needed to succeed, and our school values and cultivates partnerships with all of our parents. We all share the same goal in seeking the very best for each student.
Our friendly school community is also ‘small c’ catholic: we welcome students of all faiths and emphasize the importance of respect for our fellow human beings. Catholic social justice principles are embedded in our curriculum, and service is a way of life and an expectation for all students at St. Gabriel. Whether they are collecting items for local food shelves, serving meals at a homeless shelter, or assembling hundreds of donated pajamas to local families in need, our students learn to serve and serve with joy!
Our faculty and staff recognize the great privilege we have in working with each of our students, and our goal is to provide them with a truly outstanding foundation on which to build all of their future endeavors. Not only is a St. Gabriel graduate well prepared for the rigor of college-preparatory academics, but a St. Gabriel graduate is also equipped with a solid grounding in our Catholic Christian faith, a foundation that will prove invaluable in the years to come. Our graduates are willing to serve, able to lead, and prepared to succeed.
We invite you to visit us at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School to experience first-hand the dedication and delight we take in helping our students learn, thrive, and grow. We are preparing hearts and minds for lives of leadership, service, and excellence. We are blessed to work with so many students and families, and we hope yours, too, will become part of the St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School community!
