Tuition Assistance Program:

St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School is devoted to nurturing each child—mind, body, and spirit—through a strong Catholic education rooted in faith, character, and academic excellence.


In support of our mission, St. Gabriel Parish remains committed to helping eligible families by providing financial assistance, ensuring that a St. Gabriel education remains accessible to all who seek it. While the availability of school resources, the number of qualified applicants, and overall budgetary constraints influence tuition assistance decisions, St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School is committed to making grants* available to qualified families to the best of our ability.

Application Procedure:

  • Complete the online application form below or download the application here.
  • All applications must be completed by April 15 for the upcoming school year.
  • Completed application packages must also include a copy of the IRS Form 1040 from the previous calendar year.
  • One application per family is sufficient for all students attending St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School.
  • Awards are not automatically renewed. Families must apply annually.

Eligibility:

  • Financial eligibility is based on family size and adjusted gross income from the IRS Form 1040 of the previous calendar year.
  • Special circumstances such as an unexpected loss of income, medical costs, or other situations will be considered in the determination of eligible awards. These circumstances should be communicated in the spaces provided.
  • Family attendance at weekly Mass, parish financial support, and participation in parish activities are also considered to determine eligibility.
  • Families receiving tuition assistance must be on an ACH, credit card, or other payment plan agreement.
  • Families receiving tuition assistance must complete their payment plan agreement (or be on track to complete their payment plan agreement within their established payment plan) in order to be considered for tuition assistance in subsequent years.

Review and Approval:

  • Applications for tuition assistance are confidential. If you choose, you may submit a hard copy of your application package to the parish office in a sealed envelope addressed to the Pastor.  Otherwise, you may fill out the online form below.
  • Awards are granted based on a prescribed policy of formulas and defined considerations.
  • The tuition assistance application is reviewed by the Director of Administrative Services to verify information in the application and to seek any other information helpful in determining need and eligibility.
  • The Pastor and the Director of Administrative Services meet to review the application and the family's needs.
  • The Pastor makes the final decision, and the Director of Administration notifies the family of the outcome.
  • The tuition assistance application process is a closed process. Family privacy is emphasized and carefully safeguarded throughout this process. The identity of families and students receiving tuition assistance is not shared with school staff, school faculty, parish leadership, unrelated parish staff, parish families, or parish school students.
