Covid-19

June 2020

Social distancing will be a consideration for all schools in the fall, per the guidelines published this week by DPI.

With our LARGE classrooms and small class sizes, St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School will be working to keep students and staff SAFE and HEALTHY so that daily teaching and learning can continue in-person and without interruption.

While we still are developing our distancing, cleaning, and preventive protocols, be assured that our goal is to keep our building open, every school day, all year long.

On March 13, 2020, the Washington County Health Department declared a state of emergency in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The Health Department supports medium-length school closures to minimize the risk of community spread of the COVID-19 disease. St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School will be following the lead of local school districts in closing effective Monday, March 16 and will remain closed through the end of the school year, or until a superseding order is issued.
