Letter from Mr. Hamilton
While I continue to attend to the end of the year responsibilities and the many goals set in motion here at St. Gabriel School, I remain steadily diligent in my role as principal. Even though there will be many changes in the days to come, there is one thing that will remain constant – the path to heaven. The only way to get there is by going to where Jesus leads you.
Even though I will be leaving St. Gabriel, I will continue to serve my God. My hope is that the seeds I have planted along the way will come to fruition. I have faith in those, who I have had the pleasure to work with, that they will tend to these seeds. And even though our focus is on God’s will, we should never lose track of those who we are paving the path for - the children. Through our love and compassion, we light that path for the generations to come. No matter what we do, and no matter where we go, if we stay focused on the path Jesus made before us, we will get to the Father in due time. I often reflect on where Jesus has led me and where He will continue to lead me, realizing it’s not what we want…it’s what God wants…when He wants. I say to you truly, the path is not a road - it is a way of life.
Thomas said to him,
“Master, we do not know where you are going;
how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.”
